Birding In The Vines

Our debut tour will be held at Meera Park Winery at 426 McDonalds Rd, Pokolbin on the 22nd of August.

The morning will start at the carpark at 8pm and then a walk around the property before settling at the dam or under the tree’s depending on where the birdlife is most active. I will be on hand to identify any birds that you are unsure of and to assist with any photography tips that you need.

After a leisurely two hours with the birdlife we will move to the winery shop where we will sample some wines and enjoy local cheeses.

I am capping numbers for these tours at 10 people so if you wish to attend please email me as soon as you can to make sure of your booking.

Cost is $180pp, as an introductory price until early December.

Prosecco and Pelagics

Our first inshore pelagic will be running on the 27th of September, leaving from Swansea NSW.

Arrival at the dock at 6:15am for a 6:30 departure we will spend the morning drifting not too far from the shores of Lake Macquarie and waiting to see what wildlife will attend to our slick (oil slick to let the birds know where to come for some free photos). Accompanied by a light champagne breakfast you can ask all the photography questions that you would like answered and practice these tips as the birds fly by. Possible birds are Shearwaters and Albatross species and with luck some dolphins and whales
